What To Expect
1 HOUR
1. Arrival & Check-In
Please arrive at the harbour at your allocated time slot (as confirmed during booking). One of our friendly crew members will meet you at the designated check-in point. We’ll quickly run through safety checks and get you kitted out with a life jacket before boarding the boat.
2. Departure from St Ives Harbour
Once everyone is on board and briefed, we’ll depart from the beautiful St Ives harbour. As we cruise out, take in the incredible views of the historic harbour, Porthmeor Beach, and Godrevy Lighthouse in the distance.

3. Cruise Along the Coast
We’ll follow the rugged Cornish coastline, passing iconic landmarks such as:
The Island and St Nicholas Chapel
Clodgy Point
Porthgwidden and Porthmeor beaches
Seal Island (our main wildlife viewing spot)
4. Seal Island Stop-Off
Our first main wildlife encounter will be at Seal Island, home to a colony of Atlantic grey seals. These curious creatures often swim right up to the boat, giving you the perfect chance for photos and a closer look.
5. Keep Watch for Dolphins
As we head a little further out to sea, we’ll be on the lookout for common and bottlenose dolphins, which are frequently spotted in these waters. Occasionally, you may even catch glimpses of porpoises or basking sharks during the right season.
6. Return to Harbour
After plenty of photo opportunities and unforgettable wildlife moments, we’ll begin our return journey to St Ives Harbour. The trip offers a completely different perspective of the coastline on the way back – so keep your camera ready.
Limited seat availability!
We strongly advise that you pre-book your trip to avoid disappointment as trips can fill up very fast during peak season. You can book with us online or over the phone.
